mr. “w”…

mr. w is one of my baby planners so what that means is that i get to photograph him at 4, 8 and 12 months.  i love my baby planners because then i get to watch them grow!  i’m always sad at our 1 year session though because i know i’m not going to get to see them as often.  boohoo!

this family is so absolutely sweet and kind.  at our last session i told them they are like sunshine, they just brighten my whole day.  mr. w is just as cute as can be and is quite the poser!  look at these little looks he gives!  blue steel anyone?

Michael - Love your work! The eye contact and expressions you capture are truly priceless. I'm sure his family were overjoyed with these images. Thanks for sharing!

miss “d” and miss “t”…

still in catch up mode, i couldn’t resist sharing these two little cutie pies.  they came all the way from NJ! they were so sweet.  miss “d” was getting ready to start kindergarten.  (how exciting!)  and little miss “t” being 3, gave me lots of great looks that 3 year olds are so good at doing!  i had a lot of fun with them and look forward to seeing them again the next time they are out!

“j”…

so yes i realize i am coming here with the same song and dance about how i haven’t updated the blog and blah, blah, blah.  i had an insanely busy fall, which i am very grateful for, but didn’t come up for air until Christmas.  yes, literally Christmas.  i was delivering orders on december 23rd.  crazy, i know!  so i’m going to start blogging some of the amazing sessions i had over the past oh, what, 5 months?  i probably won’t get to all of them but at least i’ll get a few up here.

first off is “j.”  i absolutely loved working with her.  she just radiates joy and is so down to earth and easy to be around.  who wouldn’t love working with someone like that?  anyway, here are a few of my fave’s from her maternity session.  olive, her dog, even jumped in for a few.

one of my all time favorite maternity images…

woodland ballerinas…

so i realize i haven’t updated the blog in just about forever but i do have an excuse, i’ve been swamped!  like crocodiles eating me swamped!  ok, maybe not the crocodiles.  but i have been busy and an update is looooooooong over due.  to start the updating, i chose a session that was actually from last summer that i really enjoyed.  these two lovelies are dancers.  for their spring recital they did “a midsummer nights dream” and wanted to do a photo shoot in the woods instead of the usual studio dance pictures.  (sounds good to me!)  to make it even more special, miss “k” was going away to college so they wanted to celebrate their friendship and their dancing careers together.  i think they turned out pretty special, don’t you think?

miss “a”…

oh how i love photographing seniors!  (oh, and i also realize that i am really lame for not updating the blog.  don’t i say that a lot?)  there aren’t many times in your life that you do pics of just you.  just think, the next big one is usually when you get married and you have to share that one!  miss “a” was great.  we had lots of fun and she was such a trooper.  it was pretty chilly that morning and she happily leaned up against that really cold cement wall without complaint!  thanks miss “a”!

the “a” family…

meet the “a” family… they were a lot of fun!  little miss “s” is just too cute for words.  i had the privilege of a new assistant, mr. “j”.  he did a fabulous job.  even though he was more in favor of being behind the camera i think we still got a few cute ones of him as well!
