Yearly Archives: 2008

oh blog… i’ve been neglecting you!

yes, i know, it’s been way too long without a post.  the past month has been a little nutty to say the least.  i still have sessions to show you (although now they are no longer sneak peeks), ramblings, news, etc.  so, in this post i’m just going to ramble and in the next few days i’ll post more pics and news and such.  of course, you can always drop me a line if you just can’t wait to find out what i’m doing!  lol!

so, what am i listening to these days?  well, the twilight soundtrack!  it’s awesome!  the song “flightless bird, american mouth” by iron & wine is haunting and is possibly the best song on the soundtrack.  but, i also love paramore and love the two songs that they have on there.  i actually just love the whole disc!  i’ve been listening to it nonstop.  there’s even a song by rob pattinson (plays edward in the movie) that is fabulous!  check it out on itunes, you get three bonus songs vs. getting the disc in the store.

until next time!

the “s” family…

this family had great style.  ’d’ and ‘d’ were full of energy, as you would expect 2 year old twins to have.  we had great light, a great location and lots of action!  i’d say a recipe for a fantastic shoot!

until next time!

will wonders never cease…

so…  today i had the dreaded task of going to the dmv to renew my license.  we all hate going the there, it takes so long, the people are typically rude, blah, blah, blah.  can you believe that i was in and out of there in 4 minutes AND the lady was nice?  i know!

mr. m…

when i met mr. m two years ago he was wearing some cool orange crocs.  he didn’t disappoint this time and wore some stylin’ vans with skulls.  ahhhh, a man after my own heart!  what’s better than a guy with cool shoes?  i digress….  i had such a fabulous time photographing this family.  mom is ultra stylish and just a cool chick and dad clearly adores his son.  they also brought their dog “L” (aka ugly dog) but i don’t think she’s ugly at all!  she’s very cute really.  enjoy!

what’s so funny?

until next time!
